Secrets...

Well, back again with some news about literature. I keep reading about vampires, don't know exactly why but I can't helped it. Last weekend I read Dracula of  Bram Stoker and felt that no matter what todays authors could write they won't be able to do anything like Stoker did in the past. Yeah, I have to addmit that it's a different kind of novel and it was made such a long time ago, even now I think still has its effect on the readers.

Bram Stoker wrote what's called a horror novel or something just to scare, but nowadays Vampire stories are romantic, tragic and eternal love stories, no something to scare. It's pretty nice that vamps could love, but this is kind of fedding me up really soon, 'cause every single writer is doing and wrtiting about the same and in the same way. Lets see some of them: L.J. Smith Vampire Diaries author, romantic and trouble story. Two vampires, brothers, fall in love of the same girl and she has to choose ïn the end. Stephenie Meyer Twilight author, traumatic love between a vampire and a human girl, she ends up like a vampire in a race for her life. Claudia Gray Evernight, a school full of vampires and a unique babie vampire, she falls in love of her natural enemy, a prohibited game and a mortal atracttion.

So, we can se that all vampire stories are romantic and tragic love stories, so far from the count Dracula of Stoker. Yet, these stories have atractted all young readers.

Hope in the future we can find that these vampire epidemy is over, and that we have new material in our hands.

La literatura en mi vida

Secrets...

Cansada después de un largo día, aún así voy a dedicarle unos minutos a este blog. Creo que se merece eso y yo también un momento para poder hablar libremente acerca de lo que quiera. El colegio está agotador, por suerte ya falta poco para que se termine éste sufrimiento.

Por otro lado, según el título, les iba a contar acerca de la literatura en mi vida y no de cómo estuvo mi día hoy. Bueno, aunque encierran cierta relación ambas, ya que para el colegio he de escribir un texto argumentativo tomando como tema central "El Otro en la ciudad";  uds. verán el nombre jaja. En sí es un tema muy interesante y que debo relacionarlo con la novela leida en clases "Cuando muera quiero que me toquen cumbia" una historia de Cristian Alarcón, que en mi parecer no es el mejor libro que leí pero me hizo pensar mucho a la hora de escribir el texto. Es una novela basada en la vida de El Frente Vital, un pibe chorro del conorbuna bonaerense que es fusilado mientras decia: No disparen que me entrego. Se convierte en un santo para todos aquellos que vivian en la villa y lo conocian y mucho despues le dan el titulo de ser milagroso.

Como historia o libro para lectura, simplemente no me gustó pero ahora recién terminando de escribir el texto que he de entregar a la mañana, capté la idea de su trama. Si bien no es una novela en si basada en El Frente, los temas de los que trata es muy interesante y la forma en que hila todo esto Cristian es muy atrapante. Como buena historia policial y de non-fiction, habla de traición, adicción, lealtad, honor, familia, amor y de códigos, que existían aún entre delincuentes.

Bueno me explaye demasiado para mi gusto y si no corto ahora, no paro más de escribir. Espero que se animen a leerlo y bueno en la entrada anterior hay libros que si merecen la pena leer y que van de la mano de otros temas.

New after a long vacation...

Secrets...

Secrets and societies have captured me now and I'm relaxing from the vampire epidemy I've been part in, well let's say I'm still a bit obsessed with them, yet.

I came back with new style and think that changing the appearenace of the blog would help me, although I'm wondering making a live journal, but nothing to take serious now, I bring my experiences from my long absense.

First, I just wanna to recomend The Society of S but in spanish you can find it as La Sociedad de la Sangre, don'n know the reason for the name. The author is Susan Hubbard and you can find more info about her and the book in http://www.susanhubbard.com/, it's a place really interesting. Secondly, have you heard about the trilogy of The Mortal Instrument of Cassandra Clare, she's quite a new author in the marquet but still then she's pretty known in the USA. Here in Argentina have already arrive her books but in english so I'm really anxious to have them in my hands. Finally, as we can see I have already give you quite lot of info of what I found, there are recent books of new writers. Now, I have to say bye, 'till night or maybe just a few hours. I hope you find interesting these books.
